February's 'Lovers' destination? : Lake Garda

The Verona shore of Italy's largest lake, in February becomes the ideal destination for lovers from all over the world. It is in the picturesque streets of the nearby city of Verona that the famous love between Romeo and his Juliet was consummated, but it is on the shores of Lake Garda that today's lovers can celebrate Valentine's Day, their patron saint, with authentic and unforgettable experiences. From 11 to 14 February, a short stay on the lake can include

- Seeking out the path of love in Bardolino to leave your message by wandering through the stalls of local artisans
- Discover the medieval villages and castles of Torri and Malcesine from where you can then ascend to 1800 MT with the clebre Funivia (cable car) for a high-altitude kiss of love
