The new 2023-2024 season of the Teatro Sociale di Rovigo "The Dream which I always would like to dream"

Recognized among the great traditional Italian theatres, unique in Polesine area and the third regional opera center after Arena di Verona and Fondazione Teatro La Fenice, the Teatro Sociale of Rovigo is a true point of reference for many opera enthusiasts, even coming from outside the city.

Within these splendid walls, great names of international opera have made their debut, including Beniamino Gigli and Renata Tebaldi, and commendable and beloved artists such as Maria Callas and Luciano Pavarotti have also graced the stage. A history spanning over two centuries, which enchants spectators every year, presenting its great innovations.

The 23/24 season of the Tetaro Sociale - under the guidance of the Artistic Director Edoardo Bottacin - offers a program full of unmissable events: 8 new productions for the opera season, 2 of the best-known musicals such as Jesus Christ Superstar and Grease (surprising novelty this year), 8 events with prose and dance, 10 concerts ranging from symphonic to chamber music and gospel, a new jazz season, 14 events dedicated to schools and families, in addition to the traditional workshops, conferences and collateral events that will enliven the city from October 2023 to May 2024, for a total of over 70 exciting events, suitable for any artistic preference.
A program full of news and illustrious guests, from Fabio Sartori to the Filarmonica Toscanini and Arcadi Volodos, passing through Franco Branciaroli and Daniel Ezralow, for a season that promises to be exceptional and absolutely not to be missed.
