New appointment with international art at Palazzo Roverella!
From 25 February 2023 to 25 June 2023, the new exhibition curated by Paolo Bolpagni is ready to enchant Rovigo and its visitors in the halls of Palazzo Roverella.
After the success achieved last year with the exhibition on Vasily Kandinsky, “Renoir. The dawn of a new classicism" is preparing to follow it, offering a glimpse of the artist's Italian pilgrimage, from Venice to Palermo, and investigating its revolutionary consequences. The exhibition will ignite a focus on the production of Pierre-Auguste Renoir, from the trip to Italy to the works of old age, highlighting the originality of an art that benefited from the Italian influence and which represented one of the first examples of that "modern classicism ” that many painters of the 1920s and 1930s would have pursued.
The exhibition “Renoir. The dawn of a new classicism” set up at Palazzo Roverella in Rovigo, will be open until 25 June 2023. One more reason to come and visit the wonderful territories of Living in the Land of Venice. Don't let her get away!
