A world of archaeology

Wednesday 17 January saw the inauguration of the new layouts of the San Basilio Cultural Tourist Centre in Ariano nel Polesine and the Via Brenta Archaeological Area. 
Thanks to the fruitful synergic work between universities and institutions, including the Regional Museums Directorate of Veneto and the National Archaeological Museum of Adria, the new Cultural Tourist Centre provides a ring-shaped exhibition system, equipped with IT and multimedia facilities.
The archaeological area of Via Brenta has also been restored and enhanced, where the University of Padua and Ca' Foscari University of Venice have resumed excavations.
Our destination is a land rich in archaeological excavations and precious finds, between Ariano Polesine, Adria, Fratta Polesine, Ficarolo, Gaiba and Melara, where over the decades artefacts have been unearthed that have written new pages of our past.
