PDO chestnuts, a good year. In San Zeno di Montagna, the festival also opens to the flavours of Baldo

The twenty-first edition of the San Zeno PDO chestnut festival and related market exhibition is approaching, as well as the fifty-second edition of the chestnut festival, scheduled from 19 October to 3 November (19, 20, 26, 27 and 31 October and 1 to 3 November).

Among this year's novelties is the installation of the Monte Baldo Chestnut and Flavours Pavilion. An indoor structure with stations where visitors will be able to buy chestnuts directly from the producers in specially sealed nets, taste them roasted or boiled, or as the main ingredient of typical dishes accompanied by chestnut beer and local wines. There will also be minestrone di marroni, a traditional recipe based on vegetables, beans and marroni.

Outside, there will be a market of flavours, tasting and sale of typical products.
